Step into the world of Bruichladdich and take a walk through our Victorian distillery. Learn about our heritage, our whisky philosophy, and the processes that make us unique—from unpeated Bruichladdich to the heavily peated Port Charlotte and the super-peated Octomore. The tour wraps up with a guided whisky tasting in our Laddie Shop, where you can explore the full range of our single malts.

Important information

Is this tour suitable for children?

Yes. Under 18's are welcome in our visitor centre and on our Guided Distillery Tour but they must be accompanied by an adult.

Is their a cost for children?

No. Children under the aged of 18 are free as long as they are accompanied by a ticket paying adult.

Do I have to book in advance?

Due to the limited number of spaces available on our experiences, we would advise you to book in advance (particularly for bigger groups). We will always aim to accommodate guests who turn up on the day but cannot guarantee a place on any of our experiences.

I am driving, how can I make the most of my visit?

Drivers participating in our distillery tour will receive three miniatures to take away and enjoy later. Drivers on the Warehouse Tasting will receive a tour pack with three empty bottles which can be filled in the warehouse. Drivers on The Bruichladdich Experience will receive a tour pack which can be filled in the warehouse with samples from the three casks available and a miniature of The Botanist Islay cask matured gin.

Where can I park?

Parking is available at the visitor car park after the entrance of the distillery. Disabled parking is in the distillery's courtyard.

Is the tour indoors?

Experiences involve a walk to the warehouse and/or production sites. There are stairs and production areas can be hot and noisy. If you have mobility issues or are concerned about participating please reach out to us before your visit.
